CivNode Is New — Here's What That Means by node

CivNode just opened the doors. With your help we will keep adding improvements and make it amazing. What we can promise is what those improvements will never include: ads, data harvesting, engagement tricks, or any of the usual schemes. You can write your book here. Nothing will get in the way of that, not a paywall, not a redesign, not a pivot to something else. Your writing stays yours, and the tools stay available. We need to tread carefully when it comes to AI. There are tools for developing a Plot. For generating images. Not for writing the story for you, this is a deliberate choice. The plan is to keep developing the plot tool, and to transform it into something truly useful. If you do not like AI at all, you can turn it off. When things break, and undoubtedly they will, because that's how software works, we will fix them properly. We don't ship half-fixes and move on. If we can improve something while we're in there, we do that too. Want to see something new? Tell us. We read every suggestion and take them seriously. We can't build everything, but we consider everything. One thing to know: as an evolving platform, existing features may change over time. But nothing should ever break your existing writing.
