Collaboration by node
CivNode lets you write together with other people in real time. Open any work in the editor, click **Collaborate**, and invite others by their alias. When you start a live session by clicking **Host**, invited collaborators can join and edit alongside you. You see each other's cursors and changes appear instantly — like a shared document, but built into CivNode's writing editor. The host controls the session. You can mute individual collaborators if needed, or enable spectator mode so newcomers watch before they edit. When the session ends, the final text is saved to your work. Collaboration works with all writing forms — prose, poetry, screenplay. There is no limit to how many collaborators can join, but the feature is designed for small groups working closely together, not large crowds.
