The Seagull by node

On a country estate by a lake, an aspiring playwright stages an experimental play for his mother, a famous actress who mocks his work. Around them: a young woman who dreams of the stage, a successful writer who seduces her, and a constellation of unrequited loves. The seagull that Treplev shoots becomes the emblem of innocence destroyed by carelessness.
